About Salsa Improvers (DA31 Spring)
Take your Salsa to the next level in a fun and relaxed environment.
What will you learn on this course?
Your experienced dance teacher will guide you through improving your Salsa dancing in a fun and relaxed manner.
This 6 week salsa class is rooted in the authentic Cuban style, exploring footwork, body styling, and the fundamentals of lead and follow technique. Drawing on a diverse training background, and in-depth understanding of Cuban technique, the class creates a nourishing and stimulating learning environment, where precision is encouraged as much as the fun!
Learners will progress their understanding of Cuban dance, developing in confidence and style.
Each week you will learn the essential techniques and partner moves that will have you moving to the Salsa beat with rhythm and style.
Salsa dancing is not only a great way to learn a new skill, but it also offers a variety of health benefits, including:
• improved cardiovascular health
• calorie burning
• increased flexibility
• low-impact activity that's easy on the joints and can be modified to suit individual needs and abilities.
This course is also an excellent opportunity to socialise and meet new people in your community who share your passion for dance.
