What will you learn on this course?
Experienced dance teachers from Birmingham Tango Oso will guide you through the basics of social Tango dancing.
Learn the tango etiquette for social dancing from inviting someone to dance with the ‘cabaceo’ to dancing in a ‘ronda’.
This ‘Mini Milonga’ is an excellent opportunity to socialise and meet new people in your community who share your passion for dance.
Join the Learn to Tango taster session (Link) before the Mini Milonga to learn some moves to try out.
Progress to the full 12-week Learn to Tango course if you get hooked!
Who is this course for?
This event is for adults aged 18+ years at all levels. No prior dancing experience is required.
At the heart of MAC is a focus on accessibility and inclusion. Please contact us to discuss your specific access needs. The room is wheelchair accessible. A support worker or carer may assist; carers must book a complimentary ticket if attending to provide support.
Do you need to bring anything?
Smooth soled shoes with a small heel are perfect, please no stiletto heals to protect our wooden floors. Water will be provided and any additional refreshment can be purchased from our bar downstairs.
