What you will learn on this course

On this two-day course, the group will go looking for signs of Spring emerging in our neighbouring Cannon Hill Park and onsite garden.

Using foraged and found natural materials, the children will experiment with a whole range of pattern and mark making methods. These will include cyanotype printing, hapa zome leaf pounding and printing with leaves and flowers.

Children will learn to produce natural dyes from materials such as onion skin and turmeric for use with variety of materials. Finally, they will discover natural paper making and create nature collages with their work.

Perfect for younger children who love creative exploration. Participants will leave with a range of samples to use in future projects and finished pieces for display.
