Martin McNally

Martin has a love for all types of creative expression, however, drawing, animation and filmmaking in particular are at the core of his practice. Martin graduated from Winchester School of Art (Southampton University) with a 2:1 Fine Art BA Hons, and has since gained a PTLLS teaching qualification.

Martin has extensive experience in teaching both adults and children from a diverse range of backgrounds and abilities, in community groups and schools all across the Midlands. He has worked in the community, commercial and arts sectors creating films, artworks and creative projects.

Martin's animation and illustration work has been seen in diverse locations such as India, Moscow, LA, New York, Taipei, Columbia and Siena. Martin's interdisciplinary practice is informed by the nature of experience, it typically manifests with a fixation on progression, change, mutation and transition.

Martin enjoys collaboratively using visual communication to tackle meaningful issues as well as using the arts to strengthen well-being and encourage self-exploration.
