Neil Milton
Neil is a writer, DJ and audio-visual artist. He holds a BA Hons in English Literature and Creative Writing from UEA, Norwich, and an MA in Sound Art from The University of the Arts London (London College of Communication), and also has a PGCE in post compulsory education.
Neil is a self-published author of a YA novella, three pamphlets of poetry, and three collections of short stories. He has also written a memoir.
He has experience of all forms of writing: from flash fiction to text scores, journalism to copy writing, lyrics to scriptwriting. For the latter, he was part of Anglia TV/ Screen East’s inaugural ‘Storylab: Script Breakfasts’ programme.
Neil is an accomplished fine artist, working in chalk and charcoal, pencil, collage and bricolage. He also makes digital art and experimental films. As a sound artist, he collaborated with a BSL poet on an audio-visual installation, and his audio work has featured on Resonance FM. He has also presented radio.
As Expozuur, Neil released an electronic album, 2 EPs and a poetry album. He has many DJ mixes on Mixcloud. He has also collaborated with an able-assisted hip hop artist and worked alongside Peter Cusack and David Toop.
