Saranjit Birdi

As an artist, Saranjit’s work is inspired by Music, Architecture and Dance. He qualified as an architect in 1984 and worked full-time in architecture until 1995, making a transition to Fine Art as his primary practice. He now works with a range of media including drawing, painting, sculpture, digital collage, animation and dance performance.

Saranjit has an expanding portfolio of public sculpture commissions. His collaborations with other artists have included gallery installations, light and buildings, theatre and dance on film. He also works in arts-in-health related projects.
