Stuart Robinson

Stuart first picked up sticks at the age of 12. Since then, he has gone on to provide percussion for many bands, most notably The Suzukis. Signing to Deltasonic Records (The Coral, The Zutons etc.) in 2005, The Suzukis toured nationwide, played numerous large festivals, supporting amongst others, The Coral, The Zutons, The View, The Fall, Paulo Nutini, Miles Kane and Pete Docherty, before releasing their debut album The Suzukis in 2011.

When the Suzukis disbanded in 2012, Stuart began working as a session drummer, providing both live and studio percussion for various artists, including Mark Frith. In 2015 Stuart joined Band of Covers playing corporate events, weddings and bars around the country. Alongside his work with Band of Covers, Stuart attended BIMM Manchester, graduating with a BA (Hons) in Professional Musicianship (Drums) in April 2022.

Stuart has been teaching drums for 5 years for various institutions and is excited to begin an exciting new chapter as a drum tutor at the MAC.
