Tonderai a visual artist mainly working with graphite, charcoal and oil paint. Tonderai studied graphic design in college and spent time as a freelancer graphic designer. But their main passion has always been drawing. Inspired by Western Art, African Art, African culture and religion, Tonderai wanted to prove their drawing ability to create art which reflected them.

Tonderai studied drawing at LARA and continued their studies with such artists as Alvin Kofi, Charlie Pickard, Ken McCalla, Ramon Hurtardo among others.

Tonderai is immensely proud of having their work featured in The Voice newspaper, The Mind, BBC Africa. They had their first exhibit in 2011 and since then Tonderai has taught various art classes from printing, drawing to graffiti.
