Tony has worked as a community musician for over 30 years with individuals and groups of adults and children of varying abilities. Tony believes that everyone has the right to make music regardless of their background, ability, age, ethnicity or sexual orientation and his aim is to bring out everyone’s full potential.

Some of the organisations Tony has worked with include Mac Makes Music, Music in Hospitals and Care, Mind, Sandwell Third Age Arts, Playtrain, The Rathbone Society and Worcestershire County Council.

Tony also teaches guitar, ukulele and songwriting privately. Over the last three years he has been the go-to cover tutor for Dan Whitehouse’s Songwriting Circle at the MAC.

As a performer, Tony has played in several bands, most notably, the indie band FELT in the eighties. Tony has released several singles under his new artist name SHY FACE TROUBADOUR.
