About Wild Makers Studio

Every Wednesday during the summer holiday, families are invited to get creative, explore and make things inspired by nature in our indoor-outdoor space.

At Wild Maker Studio, children and their grown-ups can paint, print, build and sculpt using natural, foraged and recycled materials. Dive into materials like clay, willow, wood, scrap card, fabric and nature paints. Children are free to follow their own ideas, make their own choices and see where their curiosity takes them.

Inspired by nature and led by imagination - because the best ideas usually start with a good stick!

A quiet space, sensory tools and ear defenders are available during the session for anyone who needs them. Sessions are relaxed and child led, perfect for all children age 3+ including neurodivergent children and their families.

Led by Ampersand Projects - making creative and playful experiences in green spaces, improving the lives of people in Birmingham and the Black Country - connecting people with nature since 2016.

Looking to make a day of it? Check out our Wednesday program of family films in the cinema.

All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
