About Bus Stop Goths

Following sell out performances in 2024, Bus Stop Goths is heading out on a national tour.

With homes feeling inhabitable, and youth services thinning, Bus Stop Goths is a surreal modern folktale which centres around alt youth and their sacred outdoor spaces of which they reside. It’s a joyfully chaotic celebration of youth expression and identity.

Join celestial beings Sid and Viv as they keep a watchful eye on the streets of Middlesbrough. Their office might be in a dingy basement, but the streets they look in on are far from drab and gloomy.

There are fascinating human beings out there, some are not like the others, they’ve formed their own groups, their own cultures, their own small societies.

What will Viv and Sid discover about these sub-cultures from looking in on them?

And more importantly what will they discover about themselves?

Deeply moving and completely unhinged, the standing ovation at the end of this performance was well deserved. Bus Stop Goths is a show for the outcasts, and in that hour I’ve never felt more accepted.
