DEAD BELGIAN have been re- imagining the SONGS of JACQUES BREL since 2007
2025 sees the release of a new [ but much delayed] studio album "Age of The Idiot", including re workings of nine Brel songs. The title track is a Dead Belgian translation from the French into English.
Dead Belgian’s deliciously ramshackle approach deconstructs Brel the icon to reclaim him as a street musician, chanson maestro and people’s champion.
