Midlands Arts Centre is proud to present Girls that Geek, an event specifically designed for young women from school year 7 upwards who are considering their career choices, and who would like the opportunity to learn from inspirational speakers. This exploratory day brings together industry professionals for a series of informal discussions and a careers panel that explores women in art and technology.
Girls that Geek 2027 will focus on careers for young women in art, tech and digital industries. This year we are co-producing the event with young women at Queensbridge School to make it even more relevant, relatable and inspiring for young people, and ensure their ideas are at the heart of the program.
Full line up to be announced, but expect inspiring talks, incredible speakers, interactive opportunities to get hands on with tech and exciting performances!
