About Eco Birmingham: Heritage ride

Discover Birmingham’s hidden heritage sites by bike with Ecobirmingham.

Trained ride leaders will take you along one of their fantastic ‘Secret Birmingham – Heritage Cycle Routes’ - This led ride is your chance to learn new bike-friendly routes, explore Birmingham by bike with a group and visit some of Birmingham’s hidden heritage sites along the way. 

Some of the heritage sites you will visit on this ride include Perrot's Folly, the famous Blondin Statue, Old Joe and the Harborne Walkway – You really are in for a treat!

Starting/finishing in Cannon Hill Park. (Park entrance, in the courtyard by the picnic benches) Leaving promptly at 11.30am. Expect to be riding for approx. 3hrs using cycle paths, green spaces, shared paths and a few quiet roads. Led by qualified ride leaders.

We will ride at a gentle pace with plenty of pits stops and opportunity for a refreshment break. The ride is suitable for all the family; participants should have basic bike handling skills and the ability to ride for 2-3hrs. Please note you will need your own bike to take part in this ride.
