About MAC Makes Music: Virtual Studios

Do you love listening to the soundtracks from your favourite films or video games? Maybe you’re thinking of doing music technology or media studies at college or university?

Virtual Studio is a collaborative online music production workshop for young people interested in creating music for films, TV or video games.

Log in from home and together we will become the composers or sound engineers of our very own soundtrack. Using our virtual remote control, you will get the chance to play, record and edit sounds with specialist music production software. All you need is a laptop or iPad and a connection to the internet. If you have an instrument at home, we could try recording that too!

Liz Birch is an electronic musician and music facilitator working with various inclusive groups.

This is an inclusive, accessible music session and open to all. If you would like to talk to us about any specific needs, please get in touch - we'd love to hear from you.

Age range is a guide. Please contact us if you would like to discuss whether this session will be suitable for your young person.
