StereoHype is back at the MAC this October for an evening of music, spoken word and film celebrating Black Mental Health and Wellbeing.

The evening starts with a screening of “Me, My Music and Mental Health… A Story by Shocka”.

Shocka, who is a Tottenham based, rapper and mental health advocate will then be joining us for a Q&A and live performance

The evening concert, produced in collaboration with SoulSessions Brum, features some of the Midland’s very best jazz, soul and RnB artists. Musical Director Ashley Allen leads an all-star band with guest performers NEONE The Wonderer, Eddy Luna and Madia Sakia.

The concert will open with spoken-word and music performed by members of StereoHype Social a group of emerging black artists who have been supported and mentored by The Red Earth Collective.
