Nicole Mitchell joins Neil Charles and Mark Sanders at MAC for the first date of a short national tour. Nicole concentrates exclusively on the flute as her instrument, but also introduces some electronics into her performances. She was a key figure in Chicago's AACM (Association for the Advancement of Creative Music) and now the most influential voice in the Afrofuturistic movement in jazz.
Nicole and Mark have developed a strong partnership and have been playing together at various European festivals. Neil Charles is undoubtedly the best bass player for this trio.
