About Julia Donaldson's The Detective Dog

Illustration of a dog ahead of children walking it on a lead and a crowd following as they go past some shops. The title reads "the detective dog" with the names Julia Donaldson and Sara Ogilvie.

Accessibility

The show has been devised to be as accessible as possible for D/deaf audiences with integrated British Sign Language (BSL) used by all cast members, alongside spoken English.

The set design has also incorporated dynamic captions, which as well as making it more accessible helps to encourage early readers to recognise the rhymes they know so well as written words.
