Verve

VERVE is the postgraduate touring dance company of Northern School of Contemporary Dance. They are an award-winning, touring repertory dance company based in Leeds, UK. Each year the company tours an impressive mixed bill of refreshingly original contemporary dance works to venues across the UK and Europe. The high standard of performance and choreography is guaranteed to delight dance fans.

The performance consists of three pieces of work created by this year’s choreographers in collaboration with VERVE dancers. VERVE is led by Matteo Marfoglia, who has worked as a dancer, choreographer, movement director and rehearsal director for various dance companies such as National Dance Company Wales and Introdans.

This show is part of THIS IS DANCE, an international season of dance in Birmingham presented in partnership with FABRIC, Birmingham Hippodrome, Birmingham Rep, Fierce Festival, MAC and Sampad Arts.
