About our events

Farshore, in association with Beano, present Farshore Funny Fest

Get set to giggle and guffaw at Farshore Funny Fest, the ultimate day out for children aged 6+ and their families this October half term.

Enjoy laugh-out-loud workshops, silly science shows, hilarious headliners, face painting, scavenger hunts, book signings and meet your favourite characters.

  • Book a ticket for the morning session to meet the Brains Behind Beano Books at The World's Funniest Story.
  • Book a ticket for the afternoon session to meet Farhana Islam, Brum-based author of The Misadventures of Mina Mahmood.
  • Or book for both sessions and stay for a fun-filled day of comic-al creativity.

Every child will receive a goody bag and a voucher to redeem in the bookshop.

Best for children aged 6+ but filled with fun for younger and older siblings.
