About our events

A rounded rectangle logo which contains an eye with the many colours of an old TV testing image - beneath its says Square Eyes TV Festival 2024. A big celebration of the mall screen,

Four years in and Square Eyes is showing no sign of succumbing to fourth season fatigue. Stars might be demanding biggersalaries and producers are planning on killing some of them off to save money, but the love of all things televisual is as strong as ever.

Red Dwarf, The Sopranos, Trigger Happy TV, Prisoner Cell Block H – there’s hopefully something here for everyone, spread across Midlands Arts Centre (MAC), The Mockingbird Cinema and The Heath Bookshop.

We always have one square eye focused on work from the Midlands too, whether that be Second Home Studios, Birmingham based drama DI Ray or classic Pebble Mill commission Penda’s Fen.
