Family and baby facilities

MAC is a popular family venue and we aim to offer a relaxed atmosphere. KILN offers a wide range of children's meals. We cannot accept responsibility for your children, so we kindly ask parents, carers and guardians to stay with their children at all times, unless they're booked onto a fully-supervised, paid-for activity.

Our baby change rooms and accessible toilets have space for buggies. A nappy vending machine is also available on the ground floor. MAC's building is serviced by two lifts - one near the Cinema/MAC Bar and the other in KILN. Our lifts and ramps make the building fully accessible for everyone moving around with wheels.

Please feel comfortable to breastfeed at MAC. If you would prefer privacy, each baby change room (on the ground floor next to KILN and near to the main toilets on the lower ground floor) has a chair.

Food and drink

MAC is a charity that aims to make arts accessible to people from all walks of life. All profits from KILN, MAC Bar, our Shop and hospitality work is reinvested back into the charity.

We kindly request that you do not consume your own food and drink on the premises, including our Outdoor Theatre, Outdoor Terrace and Cinema.

We now allow drinks and snacks that have been purchased at MAC to be consumed in our Cinema and we use recyclable or reusable containers wherever possible.

However, please consider other visitors; our duty management team may restrict consumption of food or drink if it is deemed to be disrupting the enjoyment of others.

We kindly ask you not to bring in your own food, drinks (water is allowed) or food from other shops.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
