Has MAC Makes Music helped you feel more confident? If so, how?

Yes, it helped me to feel more confident then I was before joining the group.

I was given the opportunity to make music and performing live.  These made me feel positive about creating music.

MAC Makes Music also helped me express my feelings by building friendship through teamwork.

How has taking part helped you grow or improve musically?

The group work helped my songwriting lyrics as we always exchanged ideas to improve our skills.

It also helped me to be an expert user of a music making software, called GarageBand.

What have you gone on to doing after your time with MAC Makes Music?

After leaving MAC Makes Music, I have joined a musical group called Misfits Music.  I am currently learning to Play Drums.  I am also taking lessons on singing. I am also working as a volunteer in a primary school, helping children with Special Needs.

Any favourite moments or events that stood out to you?

During the COVID-19 Pandemic, I created a virtual music video with SWITCH where I was singing and dancing.  My other favourite memories were my very first SWITCH show, “SWITCH Meets Jaws” and the Squidz Club in London, which was SWITCH’s first show outside Birmingham.
