About 501 Not Out + Brian Lara Q&A

Join us at MAC for an intimate evening with a sporting legend and get to watch a brand new cut of the Brian Lara documentary 501 Not Out, which tells the story of a cricketing superstar and his world-record breaking innings for Warwickshire at Edgbaston.

Exploring Lara’s remarkable ascent to that fateful day in 1994, the film celebrates his development in Trinidad and features interviews with many iconic people from the world of cricket, including his former international and county team-mates from the historic treble winning season, his friends and coaches in the Caribbean, fans who witnessed the marathon knock first-hand and those inspired by his cricketing heroics.

Featuring rarely seen archive footage and stills, the film also examines the wider impact of Lara’s arrival and success at Warwickshire on the world of cricket, including the sponsorship deals and the popular video game series.

The screening will be followed by a live onstage Q&A with Brian Lara.

Copies of Brian's new book 'Lara: The England Chronicles' will be available to buy on the night.
