About Cama Sood Hara + Q&A

Haresh Sood, a Nottingham based filmmaker and barrister, follows up his acclaimed debut My Niece’s Big Fat Delhi Wedding with his second feature documentary. This time, Haresh turns the lens on himself, exploring the challenges and societal pressures of being a 47-year-old unmarried British Indian male. The film intelligently delves into the taunts, discrimination and cultural expectations he’s faced, while offering a humorous yet poignant critique of the Indian matrimonial system.

The screening will be followed by a live onstage Q&A with director Haresh Sood.
