Four elderly ladies are gathered around an iPad, whilst a younger man leans over their shoulders. A blue and white teapot sits in front of them and there is a framed painting of the Virgin Mary behind them.

About Four Mothers

Edward (James McArdle), a talented novelist on the cusp of literary success, is juggling the responsibility of caring for his elderly mother, Alma (Fionnula Flanagan). As the excitement of a US book tour builds, he is suddenly faced with an unexpected twist—his three friends decide to take an impromptu Pride getaway to Spain, leaving their mothers on his doorstep.

Over a lively and chaotic weekend, Edward has to balance the demands of his rising career with caring for four eccentric, combative, and wildly different ladies.
