About Geeky Brummie presents Hanna-Barbera’s Godzilla

Japanese kaiju Godzilla has been featured in numerous TV series over the decades, but in 1978 Western animation house Hanna-Barbera (Scooby Doo, Top Cat, Josie & The Pussycats) produced their own version of the world’s most famous monster in association with Japanese studio Toho. The results were…interesting, to say the least.

Keith Bloomfield - Godzilla super fan and member of the Geeky Brummie podcast – will introduce a number of episodes from this oft-maligned series as well as discussing the long history of Godzilla and the influence of Japanese post-war film on Western film and animation.
