A sombre looking woman in her forties with long brunette hair (Rose Byrne) lies on a bed, her head propped up by her left hand. She is hugging a white stuffed plushie and the image is lit up in stark red.

About If I Had Legs, I'd Kick You

Rose Byrne gives a mesmerising Oscar nominated performance in Mary Bronstein’s exploration of the complexities of motherhood.

Therapist Linda feels overwhelmed with the pressures of everyday life, particularly as she struggles to navigate her child’s mysterious illness with a singular lack of support from her absent husband. On the edge of exhaustion, she tries to stay afloat with the help of her hostile therapist and her new neighbour, in this unflinching and claustrophobic, yet deeply affecting and darkly funny drama.
