Close-up film still of a man in his thirties with light brown hair, blue eyes, and a serious expression, wearing a tan blazer, light blue shirt, and dark red patterned tie. He stands indoors against a blurred warm-toned background with angular wooden beams and geometric light patterns, looking directly at the camera.

About Primetime

It’s the age old question in television - how far would you go for ratings? That question is at the very heart of this vivid ‘inspired-by-true-life’ drama about Chris Hansen, the controversial presenter of 2000s TV hit To Catch A Predator, as played by Robert Pattinson.

It’s 2006 and despite its unconventional methods in luring men with sexual interest in minors to a sting operation, To Catch a Predator is a US TV hit that rivals the ratings of TV blockbuster Lost. When executives decide to move the show to a primetime slot, Hansen and his production team must up the ante to keep their audience, taking them down a morally murky path that ultimately leads to bloodshed.
