A striking cinematic close-up of a younger woman with wet blonde hair and piercing blue eyes staring at herself in the mirror. The image features dramatic lighting with warm, golden tones illuminating the subject's face against a darker background. The composition creates an intimate, contemplative mood with the direct gaze toward the camera.

About The Chronology Of Water

Based on writer and educator Lidia Yuknavitch’s memoirs, Kristen Stewart’s directorial debut is an uncompromising depiction of love, trauma and artistic self-expression.

A journey through the sensuous and the sensual, Stewart’s film chronicles Yuknavitch’s life as she experiences and processes childhood abuse, first love, addiction and grief. Led by a raw and magnetic performance from Imogen Poots, The Chronology of Water confirms Stewart as one of this generation’s great talents – both in front of the camera and behind it.
