Silhouette of a child stood in front of a fire at night. The fire is in the middle of a train track.

About Time Of The Wolf

A middle-class family flee to their country home in the hope of escaping an unknown disaster engulfing society, but arrive to discover that their house is occupied. Avoiding common post-apocalyptic tropes and clichés, Haneke is precise and unflinching in detailing the horror of a world where everything we hold dear – and have long taken for granted – has suddenly been taken away.

Screening as part of Complicit: A Michael Haneke Retrospective.
