What will you learn on this course?

On this course, children will have the opportunity to experiment with a variety of different artistic materials, learn new creative techniques and develop their existing skills.

They will work on a variety of projects and are encouraged to work through many elements of the creative process, such as generating ideas, and designing and making prototypes before producing their finished work.

A range of artistic techniques are taught on this course, including pottery, sculpture, 3D modelling, decorative arts, collage, and printmaking. Working both in groups and on individual projects, the students will develop confidence and team working skills. The course tutor demonstrates techniques, assists individuals with the development of their ideas, and advises on how to create their final pieces of work.

By the end of the course, each child will have produced a selection of artworks to take home.
