About Art Explorers (CSC249)

Develop art skills and get messy in this mixed media course, where children get a chance to explore a diverse range of traditional and experimental arts and crafts activities.

What will you learn on this course?

On this one-day course, the children will paint, glue, splatter, and design as they explore the wild, wonderful world of art!

They will have the opportunity to experiment with a variety of different artistic materials, learn new creative techniques and develop their existing skills.

The participants will work on a variety of projects and are encouraged to work through many elements of the creative process, such as generating ideas, and designing and making prototypes before producing their finished work.

The course tutor demonstrates techniques, assists individuals with the development of their ideas, and advises on how to create their final pieces of work.

Working, both in groups and on individual projects, the students will develop their confidence and team working skills as well as their creativity!

By the end of the course, each child will have produced their own masterpieces to take home, bursting with colours, shapes, and visual stories to show their family and friends.
