Boglárka Tóth is a mixed media artist from Hungary who had an art practice for more than ten years. She studied Fine Art at the Bristol School of Art where she experimented with different artforms and developed her creative niche.

She started her freelance practice after moving to Birmingham in 2022, teaching adult and children’s workshops and participating in creative opportunities around the city including Birmingham Open Studios and Surreal Solihull. She exhibited work at Stryx Studios and worked with community engagement organisations Arts In The Yard and Balsall Heath CATS.

Boglárka's practice is based on a mixture of her rural upbringing in North-East Hungary and on her early relationship with nature and folklore. She loves colour & pattern and takes inspiration from natural forms, plants and animals. She is interested in the relationship between art and science and often uses geometry as a foundation and guiding tool for her work.
