Bottle Rockets (CSC267)
CoursesAbout Bottle Rockets (CSC267)
Become an astronaut of art, make your own space rocket from a plastic drinks bottle and launch it into space!
What will you learn on this course?
This workshop is your chance to become an astronaut of art by making your own space rocket from a plastic drinks bottle. You will decorate your rocket with lots of colourful crafty materials and make sci-fi accessories to go with it. What will you need on your space adventure? A space pack? Some space boots? Maybe a light sabre?
Children will learn a variety of craft construction techniques as well as letting their imaginations fly to the stars and everyone will leave with their own unique bottle rocket and accessories.
If good weather permits, children will be able to launch their rockets outside in MAC’s Outdoor Theatre (using a safe bicycle pump).
