What will you learn on this course?

This half day course will bring some fun into creative writing. Carol’s approach is about building confidence and finding enjoyment in dreaming up ideas and using these ideas to begin writing creatively.

Who is this course for?

This course is suitable for children aged 7 to 11 years. It is open to all ability levels and children don’t need previous experience. Parents are not expected to accompany children on these courses. All our staff are DBS checked.

The course is accessible for children of all abilities, however we suggest speaking to us if the child has a disability that may impact on writing. There is a learning support worker and a parent or carer may assist their child if they require 1-1 support. Carers must book a complimentary ticket if attending a course to provide support. The room is wheelchair accessible.

Age ranges are set carefully to take into account key age developments, materials being used and course stimulus. It is very important that age ranges are not too large or across key stages therefore age ranges need to be adhered to.
