About Family Magical Mobiles (CSC173)

Join us to each make a beautiful mobiles inspired by bold colours, abstract designs and the theme of nature.

What will you learn on this course?

Make use of mixed media, creative techniques and abstract designs to create your mobiles.

You’ll get hands on with a variety of activities including creating spirographs, drawing and decorating your finished pieces. Pick from a wide variety of materials and ideas offering simple but affective finishes. You’ll work at your own pace, trying all the different activities in your own time, aided by our experienced Artist Tutor.

Our Family Workshops are designed to allow adults and children to make side by side with all encouraged to get stuck in! You will leave with a number of creations to take home.

Who is this course for?

This workshop is suitable for children aged 6 to 11 years accompanied by their parent or guardian who are looking for an opportunity to enjoy making together. It is open to all levels.

The workshop is accessible for people of all abilities. Parents and guardians work with their children and all activity is planned to meet the specific needs of the group. The room is wheelchair accessible.

Age ranges are set carefully to account for key age developments, materials being used, and course stimulus. It is very important that age ranges are not too large or across key stages and therefor need to be adhered to.

Do you need to bring anything?

All course material and equipment are provided.

Are there any additional costs?

The workshop price covers one adult and one child. There is a charge for each additional person (child or adult). At least one adult must be present for every three children.
