Join us for our autumn term of workshops supporting creative learning for home educated children aged 12 - 16 and their families.

Hosted by artist tutor Poppy Small, these workshops will explore drawing and painting techniques in an engaging and creative learning environment. These workshops are also suitable for families following their own learning journey offering open ended creativity.

Week 1 – Observing & Drawing Faces: this workshop will cover the basics of observing and drawing faces, exploring proportions and experimenting with skin tone colours.

Week 2 – Portrait Artists: in this workshop, participants will learn about notable portrait artists, and will create their own watercolour/paint portrait inspired by their style.

Week 3 – Surrealism Portraits: inspired by MAC's upcoming Surreal Season, the workshop will focus on surrealism/surrealist portraits and participants will create their own dreamlike surreal portrait.

Parents are expected to accompany and support children throughout the workshops.
