What will you learn on this course?
This course will bring some fun into creative writing and provide techniques for how to start a story and techniques to improve creative writing. Carol’s approach is about building confidence and finding enjoyment as well as embracing the drafting process. The course will use memory exercises and published texts to inspire writing and might involve group work and group discussions.
By the end, everyone will have something finished or the confidence to write in their own style about their own life experiences, but with more informed techniques from the class to reflect, extend and continue with their work to develop it further. No matter if you’re an inspiring writer or want to get to grips with where to start, this course will offer something for you.
Who is this course for?
This course is suitable for adults aged 18+ years who would like to build their confidence and improve their creative writing skills by drawing inspirations from life experiences, stories and published text. It is suitable for beginners.
