About Learn to Flamenco Dance Taster

Step into the rhythm, passion, and power of flamenco!

What will you learn on this course?

In this taster workshop, participants will discover the exciting world of Spanish dance — from fiery footwork and expressive hand movements to the proud posture and storytelling that make flamenco so unique.

Through fun exercises and short choreographies, participants will:

•    Learn the basics of flamenco rhythm (compás) and movement
•    Explore how to express emotion and confidence through dance
•    Discover traditional flamenco music and culture

No previous dance experience is needed — just enthusiasm, energy, and curiosity! Olé!

After many years of studying Flamenco in Spain, Freddie is excited to bring this dramatic dance practice to MAC. The class will run for 75 mins with time built in at the end to ask your Tutor any questions.

This taster class is also an excellent opportunity to socialise and meet new people in your community who share your passion for dance. Progress to our 4-week Flamenco short course if you get hooked!
