What will you learn on this course?
This one-day open studio is not a taught course but an opportunity for experienced learners to progress with their individual creative journey, supported by an artist tutor in a relaxed social environment.
Our fully equipped Media Studio will give you access to iMac computers, Adobe Creative Suite and other creative software. Tutor Kieran Naughton can provide support and direction for a range of digital media packages, including:
· Photoshop
· Premiere Pro
· Final Cut
· Illustrator
· Logic Pro
These open studio sessions are beneficial to students wishing to develop methods and techniques taught on other courses, as well as those putting together a portfolio, artists wishing to create work for exhibition and learners seeking quality creative time for themselves. Perfect if you are working on photo or video editing projects!
Participants work at their own pace and are encouraged to take breaks throughout the day.
Who is this course for?
This open studio is suitable for adults 18+ years. It is open to students of all levels.
At the heart of MAC is a focus on accessibility and inclusion. Please contact us to discuss your specific access needs. You need to be able to use a computer. The room is wheelchair accessible. A personal assistant or companion must book a complimentary ticket if attending to provide support.
Do you need to bring anything?
Please bring a 32GB USB stick or external hard drive so that you can take your work home.
