About The Final Bid: Life Drawing Evening (ASC169)

A unique opportunity to expand your life drawing practice using Michael Pinsky’s exhibition, The Final Bid, as a backdrop.

What will you learn on this course?

Join us for a unique evening bringing together two exhibitions currently on display, Made at Mac: Capturing the Human Form and Michael Pinsky: The Final Bid

From Hockney to Lucas, Uglow to Van Gough the humble chair has long been used a narrative device by artists to position both objects and people in a space.

The chair and the human body, both with back, arms, legs and a seat, provide ample source of inspiration and the opportunity to develop drawing skills and techniques.

Lead by artist Nick Logan, you will explore The Final Bid exhibition rotating around a number of life models positioned throughout the space. Guidance and direction will be provided by Nick but you are expected to work at your own pace.

You will be invited to share your work at the end if you choose.

This is not a taught class, participants should have some prior experience of life drawing. Models will provide life (nude) poses, a mature, respectful approach to the event is required.
Post event all are welcome to head to Kiln for a drink. One beer, wine or soft drink of your choice is included in your ticket price.
