Sonu Thomas

Sonu Thomas is an artist with a degree in Animation Production from Arts University Bournemouth. Having directed an animated 2023 short film, The Man Who Loved Flowers which has gone on to be selected for twelve film festivals internationally, Sonu specialises in visual development for films, character design and storytelling through artwork. Outside of animation and film, she enjoys pushing boundaries with experimenting with media, drawing and selling her original oil paintings.

Over the past two years, Sonu has been working in the education sector in schools across Sutton Coldfield and Birmingham, both as a cover teacher and a teaching assistant.

In her spare time, Sonu loves to bake, tend to her plants and spend time with her dog
