About Birmingham Improv Festival: Workshop led by Phil Lunn

Fun And Games With Music

Sometimes the best way to practise things is by doing them. In this workshop, we’ll learn some musical improv skills through performing a selection of short form games. We’ll look at:

  • How to quickly jump into songs
  • Working together in multi-part songs, and creating effective improvised choreography
  • Short form formats that are ready-to-perform, fun for both the players and the audience

Musical improv experience is useful but not necessary.
