The BIG Beano Draw Off with Laura Howell and Hugh Raine | 10am and 12pm
Join Laura Howell, Birmingham-based illustrator of Minnie, and Hugh Raine, creator of the Betty and the Yeti, for a fun-packed drawing session. Discover top secret tips from real Beano artists, take part in a live draw-a-long of Minnie and Yeti, and challenge Laura and Hugh to create the funniest character mash-up (in 90 seconds!)

ROARsome Sounds | 10am and 12pm
Join Theo as he helps his new friend Mina summon a dragon best friend in this hands-on sound effects workshop. Audio editor Rebecca will show you how to make super silly dragon sounds using household items, and you’ll get to design your very own dragon best friend!

Get your lab coats ready and your goggles on! It’s time to put science to the test by solving a series of bonkers dilemmas to save granny from a runaway train in this fun-packed interactive show based on the book by bestselling author Swapna Haddow and award-winning illustrator Jess Bradley.

Meet Beano’s Dennis and Gnasher
Dennis is the master of mischief and mayhem. Gnasher is Dennis’s best friend in the world. The two are always together and will be visiting MAC all the way from Beanotown where they live. Available to ticket-holders, appearances start at 11.45AM
