About Healing Arts: Sketch and Stitch with BCU Fashion Design
Fri 26 June | 11am - 5pm | Terrace Gallery
Join us for a creative 'Sketch and Stitch Day' at MAC Birmingham delivered by Birmingham City University’s Fashion Design & Textiles Teams.
This hands-on, creative day celebrates the power of community through sketching, stitching and making. Open to all ages and skill levels, this event invites you to explore your creativity, connect with others and express yourself through art. Whether you're a seasoned maker or just curious to try something new, there's a space for you here.
Together, we'll bring local communities into conversation, sharing ideas, and finding inspiration in a relaxed and welcoming setting. All materials provided - just bring your imagination! All activities are free to drop into around MAC’s public spaces.
We look forward to welcoming you to this exciting event.
Supported by BCU Fashion Design. Presented for Healing Arts Birmingham (HABrum) a city-wide initiative demonstrating how the arts can transform health, wellbeing, and social equity. Part of Jameel Arts & Health Lab’s global Healing Arts campaign in collaboration with the World Health Organisation.
