Hosted by Brum’s finest mashers of country and indie rock, Independent Country, this all-day event in MAC's Outdoor Theatre will treat you to a jam-packed bill and delicious food and drink available from MAC bar and KILN.

Cud

This year features a headline set by some very special guests indeed!

Initially lauded for their quirky Peel session cover of ‘You Sexy Thing’ in 1987, Cud built up a huge live following and buffed up their repertoire with a string of unstraight pop beauties, best exemplified by the 1990 album ‘Leggy Mambo’ and Top 30 hits, such as ‘Rich and Strange’ and ‘Purple Love Balloon’.

Join the army of ‘Space CUDets’, and get ready to sing along and dance the night away.

Independent Country

Your hosts are 6 cowboys from Birmingham (UK) who take indie classics on a rollicking ride to Nashville and back.

Floppy fringes and baggy jeans are swapped for pedal steel guitars and four-part harmonies as the NME meets The Grand Ole Opry.

They created The Ryland Caravan as a celebration of the music they love, so saddle up your ponies and say hello to the best gang in town.

The brainchild of a lifelong relationship with music, magic and the stage.

Bearing comparisons to Foxygen, Gorillaz and other rock-leaning experimental projects, Brian has made his name throughout the 2nd city after launching the live project a year ago.

The Bitter Lemons

The Bitter Lemons bring a blend of classic rockabilly and rock n roll. Expect anecdotal original songs with scuffed up rock n roll covers, all with a layer of 60's garage band grease.
