Home/Lands is a Birmingham/Glasgow quartet with Alicia Gardener-Trejo on flute, baritone sax and bass clarinet, Andy Woodhead on piano and keys, Brodie Jarvie on bass and Jonathan Silk on drums.
As part of the Home/Lands Chronicles project, Alicia has been working alongside Birmingham based singer & cellist Laura Collins and spoken word artist Jasmine Gardosi to engage with local ensembles and youth groups to collect diverse narratives that make up the city of Birmingham. Alicia, Jasmine and Laura have then transformed these contributions from stories into music written exclusively for Birmingham.
