About Windrush Legacy Outdoor Concert & Exhibition

Presented by; Paul Rose, Founder and Director of Vows Community Enterprise. This special event celebrates the 77th Year anniversary of the Windrush Generation Legacy, and the birth/beginning of the NHS. Join us for a vibrant afternoon/evening celebration in honouring our elders and war veterans, through music, spoken word, speeches, a one-man Windrush play, and heartfelt tributes. Experience the powerful influence of the African/Caribbean Community, their history and culture in a joyful, and welcoming space at the MAC Theatre.

Featuring performances by: The Town Hall Gospel Choir, Birmingham, Victor Richards, (A one man Windrush Actor), Jay Alex Bigby, Lytie Powell, The Travellers Singing Ministry Choir, plus many more performers!

Sunday 22nd will begin at 3pm with a live marching parade from SDA Pathfinder Drum Core in Cannon Hill Park, to celebrate Windrush Day.

Come celebrate the Windrush Generation legacy, community, and culture in "Love and unity.”
