We are pleased to announce that from May 2024, we will be reopening our Main Theatre. Last autumn we identified the presence of RAAC in isolated sections of our old roof in the Main Theatre, Painting and Drawing and Weston Studios and temporarily closed these spaces.
The Painting and Drawing Studio has since reopened with provisional modifications installed and been approved as safe for use. In the Main Theatre we will be installing a bespoke structure, designed by Structural Engineers to ensure public safety and allow us to welcome back audiences at full capacity.
This is a temporary measure that allows us to focus on the significant task of fundraising the monies necessary to replace the old roof with a new structure. Details of how you can help donate to our campaign will be announced soon.
